Global Skin Hub (GSH) is developing materials with differentiated efficacy through bioconversion technology.

Bioconversion and fermentation technology is  a biotechnology that uses microbial fermentation and enzyme treatment to transform the active ingredients of natural products and enhance their functionality. This technology can induce structural changes in natural bioactive substances, thereby increasing their absorption rate, reinforcing their stability, and creating new functional ingredients .  In particular, the fermentation process using the metabolic action of microorganisms (yeast, lactic acid bacteria, mold, etc.) reduces the molecular size of the raw material, maximizing its skin absorption, and increasing its skin affinity, enabling more effective skin improvement.

We are developing high-functional cosmetic raw materials using microorganisms isolated and identified from natural products, and are stably supplying highly effective raw materials by optimizing microbial fermentation technology.  In addition, by applying dual fermentation technology to simultaneously or sequentially cultivate different microorganisms, we produce various metabolites that cannot be obtained from a single fermentation process, and realize higher production yields. To this end, we are conducting research on microbial selection and optimization of culture conditions(temperature, time, medium design, etc.), and systematically designing the production process for fermented raw materials.

The raw materials developed through this differentiated fermentation technology maximize the skin improvement effect and are used as core materials for functional cosmetics. Through continuous research and development, we supply more effective and skin-friendly customized fermentation raw materials and are leading the high-functionality cosmeceutical raw material market.
